This place has been on my bucket list since I loved to Panama City. I have always heard great things about it and I live within walking distance so I am mad at myself that it took me a whole year to check this place out! You walk in and its so welcoming...friendly smiles, great natural sunlight, and the cute small town style ambiance :) The loaded potato soup is to die for and all the sides are fresh which is a nice change from the ordinary. Cash only so come prepared. I didn't have room for dessert but I wish I did! The dessert tray looked amazing!

This is a rather nice hole in the wall place located in a somewhat historical district known as "downtown Millville" by the locals. The place looks very ghetto from the outside, and has a neat indoor classic décor. We got there around 11ish and were not very busy, but it started fill up rather quickly after 12. They got a variety of sandwiches and soups, I finally decided on the Spicy Beef sandwich after many indecisive moments. The sandwich turned out to be decent, despite the sandwich was by no mean spicy in any ways. All of the flavors seem to go well together. Sweet Magnolia is a definitely a nice luncheon location, and our server was great. One inconvenience thing here is that they do not accept credit card, but there is an ATM machine here. So remember to bring cash with you...

CASH ONLY but they have an ATM inside. Good food not easy to find but worth the effort. Highly recommend

This is probably one of my favorite restaurants of all time! The food is fresh and The soups are AMAZING! The carrot cake is superior, best I've ever had! The food can be a bit pricey but it's worth it, trust me! I love the ambiance as well very quaint and lovely. I always leave this place I'm a happy mood :)

The definition of Southern hospitality: Sweet Magnolias Deli. I had the Smoked Turkey sandwich, it was awesome. Turkey made it light and healthy... the "Onion Marmalade" (sauteed onions cooked in Bourbon) gave it the Southern taste. The restaurant's Honey Mustard brought them together perfectly and the Onion Roll was a good choice to bookend all the flavors inside. The desserts, as you can see in the picture I posted, had the appeal to anyone with taste buds so much so that any of them would be a good choice. (Look at them all, I don't see a single one that would be a bad choice.) One more thing, the Oyster-covered parking lot across the street lets the customer know where they're at... the best hole-in-the-wall place on the Gulf Coast.

Quaint restaurant, historical building. We really enjoyed the food and the staff was very personable. They have great salads and all kind od sandwiches. They bring you a dessert tray to pick what you want. If you are looking for something homemade, this is the place for you.

NOT impressed. What did we miss. Had the chicken salad sandwich...didn't have any flavor! AND where do they cook? ALL I seen was a toaster and 3 microwaves and the french dip tasted like it! Can get at any gas station.

This is a quaint little restaurant in downtown Millville. The food is good. I've never had anything that I didn't like. I would say that nothing there is surprisingly incredible. However, everything is tasty. Make sure you sample their dessert tray. They have a lot of good options there. It gets a little cramped sometimes during lunch. They will not let you sit unless you have your entire party present (not table saving). Also, if you get there after 1pm they may have run out of what you want to order.

One of my favorite spots for lunch. The girls who work there are delightful. Poly chicken is delicious. However wrong it is, I always get two desserts. Spectacular! Bring cash or use the atm on site!

Bring Cash or Check - no plastic! Sweet Magnolia's was a great little lunch spot (breakfast as well). The SW White Bean Soup I had was fantastic. The Club sandwich was standard, nothing special, but my wife loved her Athena and pasta salad. Service was prompt - if a bit gruff (it was pretty busy), and the Dessert was amazing (turtle brownie pie thing). I will definitely be back to try all the soups and sandwiches. Not a lot of space for parties over 4.

This is a lovely little deli for a sitdown lunch. It's a short drive from work and thusly a popular Friday lunch treat. The menu is full of tasty sandwiches and salads (my usual is chicken salad-adding cukes and sprouts-with spinach madeline soup [a creamy, spicy chicken-broth based soup with plenty of the titular spinach]). But the true standout at this place isn't on the menu, it's on the dessert tray! At the end of your meal, your waitress will wave the tray under your nose. It's jam-packed with cakes and confections, the shining star of which, I feel, is the key-lime pie. Rich, dense, creamy-sweet and tart all at once, it's truly addictive. Make sure you bring cash or a checkbook as Sweet Mag's only takes these forms of payment. There's an ATM by the register in case you forget to do so. Oh, and plan to withdraw a little more than you expect from that machine - the missing star is because you'll pay a sweet little price at this sweet little diner. Nothing outrageous, but although I frequent the place, it's always a little more than I expected... I highly recommend giving adorable off-the-beaten path deli a shot. Enjoy!
